American Softwoods will be showcasing a range of softwoods from the USA, including Douglas Fir, Southern Pine and Western Hemlock at this year’s INTERBUILD Exhibition.
The show is taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from October 18th to 21st and visitors to the American Softwoods Hall 5, Stand K60 can obtain valuable information about the properties and sustainability of these versatile softwoods.
American Softwoods said “The INTERBUILD Exhibition is one of the most important events in the timber industry calendar and provides a great opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of using American softwoods for both internal and external projects.”
American softwoods are harvested from sustainable forests in the USA. The success of forestry management and conservation in the USA means that forested land is now greater than it was 75 years ago. Forests occupy an area equal in size to Germany and France combined. More than 4.5 million trees are planted every day.
